Community CrowdFunding

Community Crowd Funding

Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves.

I believe if we teach people to fish using the WeShare donation platform we can empower our communities for a dynamic change.

IMAGINE…

Being able to raise money for any Project or Passion.

— Children’s Education

— Medical Bills

— Paying Off Your Mortgage

— Feeding the Homeless

— Providing Shelter

— Raising Money for a Ministry

— Funding a Retirement Account

— Starting or Expanding a Business

Imagine giving all of the homeless/unemployed families the ability to start their own Project with this platform raising unlimited funds. It gets better what if your organization used the WeShare Community build to raise unlimited funds year round!

Short overview presentation: http://yourfund.info

How many people and organizations do you know that need to raise money?

Education is rapidly becoming beyond the reach of virtually everyone. When you do get a loan, it is often tied up with many conditions that can burden your life for many years. This makes it difficult to take advantage of opportunities while trying to pay off student loans.

Crowdfunding is the New Wave of the future. If you are reading this you are probably already hip enough to know how crowdfunding works. Basically you request small donations from large groups of people. The trick is to reach the large group of people. Our platform can help you do that.

One of our major features is that we have no fees. In addition, you start getting paid immediately any and all donations to you. This can be significant, especially when you are first starting out and every dollar can be important. Most cannot wait to reach the entire college education goal before receiving funds as required by other platforms.

Because we leverage our donations through our Donation Distribution Formula, with a little review you will find that you can greatly increase your chances of success with our platform. This is especially true because students naturally network with each other. They are in a constant environment that puts them in touch with others needing the same solution. You have a built in organization to work with by helping them start their project which should accelerate you to success.

Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others, cannot keep it from themselves.

CrowdFunding On The Rise

you-get-what-you-give

Banks Obsolete as Cloud Generation Turns to Crowdfunding?

There are dreamers, and then there are Dreamers. The latter are the people who have led humanity on its relentless course of progress, of myths, and jokes, and fairy-tales being brought to life. These are the people who built the first airplanes, and the ones who will someday build time-machines or transporters. Dreamers are the people who know exactly what life offers them, and are ready to go out there and take it.

Which isn’t that small a detail, if you think about it? But the wonders of the 21st century are numerous, and that includes many heretofore unseen internet phenomena, from political movements, instant internet banking, online shopping, and the point of this discussion, a new way of raising monetary contributions for a project; crowdfunding.

Crowdfunding is an interesting way to raise money, because it takes advantage of the internet’s seemingly omniscient reach. News posted on the internet can reach more people than television and print-media combined, because of the way individuals can use social media to propagate something by ‘sharing’ or ‘tweeting’ until millions of people have seen it.

So how does crowdfunding work? There are three main parties involved in the process, resulting in a mutually beneficial transaction. The first is the ‘project initiator’, the Dreamers with a plan, but without the financial backing required to carry out their project. The second group consists of people around the world who are interested in funding the project, for any number of reasons. The benefit of having so many people involved, is that even if each person makes a small, reasonable donation, it adds up to a pretty large amount. The third is a moderating organization or ‘platform’ that manages to connect the project initiators to their supporters, and gain them the required monetary support.

So why would people agree to fund a random project someone else dreamed up? Well there are numerous reasons, but the major ones are simple. The project could be one that supporters would really like to see exist in the real world. Movies, video and computer games, often use this method, and the ‘benefit’ that people get out of it is a copy of the movie, or game after it has been developed. This has been termed ‘reward-based crowdfunding’ and requires a somewhat emotional attachment between the supporter and the project involved. Clearly one wouldn’t support a movie adaptation of a 1930s science fiction novel if you’ve never read it, or support the building of a community centre or library in a city you don’t live in, and won’t require membership to.

Another method is ‘equity-based’ crowdfunding, and this one doesn’t need an emotional attachment. Instead, the supporter gets equities in the company or start-up that is being developed. This is a money-only transaction, but may end up better for both parties, especially when compared to traditional banking interest rates. ‘Credit-based’ transactions are also a better alternative to banking, and are set up by non-banking platforms that match up people who want to borrow money with people willing to lend them that amount of money on their unique set of terms.

Crowdfunding’s not a new idea anymore, more than a decade old; it’s actually in the adolescent stage now. People around the world have proven its uses, and made amazing transactions, but the future definitely holds infinitely more possibilities for crowdfunding.

Questions and Answers

Best ads / affiliate program for website?Hi, I run a website about principles of financial accounting. The site is free and provides accounting lectures, assignments exercises and solutions. The site has about 180 pages in total.

Currently I use google adsense to display ads and generate some revenues to cover costs.

What can be a good alternative for google adsense in terms of payout and total revenue earned? What may be a good affiliate program to engage in?

Aside from above considerations, I would like to ensure my visitors do not get too distracted with lots of ads as most of them come to my site to learn accounting.

Thank you.

Question about Affiliate programs and multiple websites?Okay, so I read that most, perhaps all, programs will let you enroll multiple websites under the same ID and tracking.

But what if you have a blog/site already signed up with a program and then, let’s say, a few months later you decide to build another blog/site; and would like to use the same affiliate.
Because you didn’t enroll them at the same time for the first application, does that mean one would have to create a second submission/ID for the new blog?

The money will all go to the same account anyway… But I’m just wondering.

(I hope this wasn’t confusing, I can’t get a clear answer anyplace else.)

[display_name id=”0″]I have an online work that makes me money, and it is easy to follow. What’s most important, you don’t have to work more than 2-3 hours a day.

Maverick Money Makers club is a brilliant course aimed at those people who want to get a good under-pinning knowledge of a growing industry – affiliate marketing. It seems appropriate to take this opportunity to talk about the industry as a whole, as well as to talk about the Club.

Sure the Club is fantastic, but I want to make it clear that it isn’t just another one of those ‘get rich quick’ schemes. It is actually a ‘crash’ course in a new type of career that is expanding at an amazing rate. I compare it to an Open University course, as you study in your own time at your own pace. You really do get out of it what you put it. And in my opinion it is a sure fire way to secure a future in a stable career path. I’ve never come across anything quite like it, and I’m very pleased to be part of it.

Industry Changes

Sales Personnel have to work hard to keep their job…

A lot of companies either can’t, or don’t want to have the overheads of sales executives on high salaries, and who are tied into constrictive contracts.

Professional sales and marketing people spend thousands of money on university fees, and spend many years studying before they even enter a job in their chosen field. The internet has changed, and so too is the economy. New sales & advertising practices are hurtling along in one direction and I’m not convinced that these otherwise highly skilled professionals are following. This therefore leaves way for undergraduates like me to get involved, and make a whopping great amount of money from it!

Companies can’t justify huge advertising budgets

The ROI on advertising is not as good as it used to be, it can’t be otherwise the quality of tv adverts for example wouldn’t have plummeted. I recently commented how I thought tv adverts were just so repetitive nowadays. Remember the amazing Honda or Nike adverts for example – when was the last time you saw one of them?! Each advert just seems to be a regurgitation of a past campaign, and I started questioning why. I figure companies just can’t afford to pay top dollar so they have to settle for basic.

Affiliate marketing should thrive in the economic downturn

With traditional marketing media; print & tv in particular, set to suffer huge cuts these budgets should be shifted to affiliate marketing. We all know that more people are using the internet to research and buy products, so companies need to respond to this. It isn’t enough to simply have a website – customers and potential customer need to find it!!

So what does the club cover?

It exposes the tips and tricks of the trade, things you would never know if you tried to do it alone. This guy has at the end of the day spent 10 years putting this together. He differentiates between all the crap out there, and the good ways to do things, and how to tackle affiliate marketing in a professional yet enjoyable manner. The tutorials are amazing quality, with nothing left to guesswork. They are very easy to follow and understand well worth the small subscription fee.

It might take a few months to really get through all of the tutorials and guides, but after that anyone embarking on this journey really should be secure for life and really understand how the whole thing works.

Definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to establish a career in this arena as it appears to open many doors.

Check my source, hope it’ll help. Good luck!

Questions and Answers

What are the advantages and disadvantages of starting a business from scratch?

What would be better. To start a business from scratch or to buy an already up and running business. And the pro's and con's of each?

[display_name id=”1″]

The advantages of building a business from scratch is that you can build from the bottom up and have great satisfaction that you did it your way and are truly a 'self-made millionaire.' The disadvantage is that you might not have much capital and it can be difficult going at it alone.

The advantages of buying one of those 'franchises' is that in most cases a successful 'business plan and system' are already in place and you just need to learn the business, work it, and reap the benefits. The disadvantage of that type of start is that you will not have a whole lot of room in being innovative. Fresh ideas from you won't be welcomed and you must answer to your 'angel investors' or whatever they call themselves that put up your initial capital.

But, I think the best way is to start from scratch if you are interested in an online business. You can profit big time with very little capital and most of your resources you need to succeed are FREE. Check out this site. It will give you all the information you need and warn you of the major money making scams on the internet. The best business will depend on what you want, how you define to be interesting. A person may consider a pet sitting business to be the most exciting work in the world, while another person would rather watch TV than take care of dogs.

The key is to determine what your interests are, what you want to do, what is suitable for your lifestyle and your overall goals, and what can fit with your resources.

Dan Ramsey in his book "101 Best Home Businesses" has a chapter on how to find YOUR best home business. He suggests these 10 steps:

1. List 5 things you do best
2. List how others would benefit from what you do best
3. Find out how to give people what they want
4. Learn the value of your services to others
5. Find out who else offers similar services
6. Learn from the successes of others
7. Learn from the failures of others
8. Plan your own success
9. Make low cost mistakes
10. Enjoy what you do and how you do it

He then made suggestions on the best home businesses according to type. Here are a few of them:

Best Businesses Using Craft or Physical Skills
– antique restoration
– auto detail service
– carpet cleaning business
– errand/delivery service
– housecleaning business

Best Service Businesses
– bed and breakfast operator
– caregiver
– catering service
– senior day care center
– tutoring service

Best Professional Businesses
– desktop publisher
– magazine writer
– import/export service
– income tax preparation service
– event planner

Anyone out there know of or run a legit home business ?

I am disabled and on a limited income which I am allowed to supplement to a certain degree. I am looking for an at home business. Avon, Mary Kay etc. Are out. I don't even use makeup and know that I would not be good at that. I do love candles, quality crafts, bears and home decor. I have looked into some that I feel charge exorbitant prices that I can't even afford, so I can't see myself selling them to someone, plus I can't afford the start up cost. Is there something reasonable out there that might match my interests, that is reasonable for the consumer and offers quality products ? There is so many scams out there, which has made me very reluctant to even request information to some vague internet address with no physical address or phone # Thanks in advance for any help.

Can someone run a home business?

My friends' hairdresser's shop rent became too expensive for her, so she decided to continue her hair salon out of her garage. She lives in a condo. My friend told her that it is illegal to run a business out of your home, but she does not seem to care and says that "its my house, i can do what I want".

Could this hairdresser get in trouble for this? Or should it be fine to do?

Some neighborhoods have covenants that restrict home businesses. So, I would recommend she double-check her covenants. She should, obviously, file her taxes and run a legitimate home business. But, honestly, she would have to receive complaints for any problems to arise from operating from her home. "Technically", she can invite anyone over to her house, that she wants. And just "happen" to cut their hair!

I run my Tupperware business from my home. I am able to write off the square footage of my business space from some expenses of my home. However, I am very careful not to disturb my neighbors in the process.

Blessings on her endeavors. A lot of times, in these situations, I operate on a do it now and ask for forgiveness, later.

Questions and Answers

What is a good internet business to start?

Posted by Sonny West
[display_name id=”1″]

A good internet business to start with is definitely an affiliate business. Basically, it involves selling for others their products and earning a commission in return.

There are a few points to note when you start an affiliate business. This is for you to build a strong foundation in your future affiliate business if you ever so decided to start one.

1) Ignore get-rich-quick schemes. Lots of websites promise you that. However, please remember that if the offer sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Just remember that these sales copies are written by professional copy writers and their job is to entice you to buy. What happens after you have bought the product is not that much of their problems anymore. Therefore, if anyone were to promise you tons of money within 24 hours, ignore it. However, if you learn quick enough, it is still possible to generate thousands of dollars within a few months. It all depends on the amount of time and effort you are willing to invest into your business.

2) Perseverence. You have to persevere. Do not flirt from one affiliate business to another thinking that the "grass is always greener on the other side". All successful internet marketers in this world will tell you that they took some time before they reap the rewards. All these rewards were attained through lots of trials and errors. So, please persevere.

3) Be prepared to invest time, money and effort into your business. There is no such thing as free program that you can join and reap thousands of dollars in return, though I know that there are a number of programs out there who promise you that. However, once you signed up for these programs, the owner will ask you to sign for an upgrade in order to earn much more. That's their sales tactics. Therefore, if you are interested in starting an affiliate business, do invest your time, money and effort into a good coaching programme to ensure that you have a good grounding. When I talk about good coaching programme, I am referring only to those derived by established internet marketers, such as Ewen Chia, Derek Gehl etc.

That's basically all I wish to share. If you wish to find out more, I will offer you a free website resource and a good coaching programme that requires alittle monthly investment on your part.

Hopefully, I have shared something that you find useful.

I sincerely wish you all the best in your internet business.

Online businesses need quality on-topic content that acts as a magnet to draw qualified prospects. In addition, you need to spread the word online by providing quality expert information on user conversation sites (e.g. Y! Be sure you are 'pinging' the search engines so they know to come crawl your site.

Part 2:Web Site

Put your biz on the Internet web.

Your Web site should be more than just a Web site. It should get found and build free, targeted traffic, your traffic. If you don't own your traffic, you don't own a business online.

In short, your Web site should drive business. Most Web sites merely exist. They don't generate income. To be blunt, they fail.

–> There is no need to worry about all the technical specifics of Web hosting companies. They are all uniformly excellent these days.

Don't fall for "cheap, quick, easy." Success takes work. The key is to focus 100% upon your business, instead of wasting 95 out of every 100 hours upon technical issues (HTML, CGI, FTP, SEO, etc.).

How?

Through a Web hosting package that provides a proven process and a tech-free, complete set of site-brainstorming-building-hosting-and-marketing tools. A combination that delivers thriving, profitable businesses.

Starting My own internet business?

I think its about time. I am well know around friends and company personel that i am good with computers. I already have a small clientel for building websites.
My question is, do I need to Register my company name? So I can stamp that into all the websites I handle. If so, how do I go about doing that?
Instead of asking a set price, if I ask for donations do i need to pay tax?
If I do put a set price do I have to pay taxes for services like building a website or helping somebody with software?

If you are going to open a business you should start off on the right foot. People that come to you will always come back if they can trust you. Get your business license & bond, build a trust between you and you Clint's ( it's importance you build trust with them ). Owning a business is a 30/70 deal, you pay yourself 30% and the business get 70% of the earnings. The reason for that is simple ( in that 70% all cost come from it including taxes.
Keep it real with everyone including the IRS.

According to Kelly, there are quite a few enterprising entrepreneurs who have opened businesses and wished they'd done more research. Since he began his site in 2007 he's heard many a small business horror story and identified certain mistakes and blind spots many hopeful business owners fall prey to. He's allowed us to publish his findings here. Whether you're looking to open a burger joint, a gym or even an apparel shop, below are a few nuggets of wisdom to contemplate before taking the plunge. 1. The term "hot new franchise" is an oxymoron Would-be entrepreneurs are eager to get in on the ground floor of a trendy new business. What they should do is the exact opposite, says Kelly. Questions and Answers

How to start a home based business?

I want to start a home based business, but I'm not sure where to start. I have some money saved up to invest but not a lot.

Posted by Bryan J
[display_name id=”1″]

There's two ways you can go about having a home based business.

You can invest in one of many home biz opportunities available. You basically subscribe as a member (usually by purchasing one or more of the company's products), and then you gain the rights to sell their products. You also recruit other distributors that work beneath you, and earn you a commission each time they make a sale as well. These are network marketing, MLM, and direct sales companies.

However, there are several drawbacks to these types of businesses. One is that you don't have any ownership. The products don't belong to you, the company isn't owned by you, and your downline members may or may not remain loyal to you. If the company shuts it's doors, changes it's prices or products, or simply kicks you out, you're dead in the water.

In essence, all you are is a high commissioned sales person. It works, but it has it's dangers.

A much better solution is to sell information products. The online information marketing industry offers the same exact benefits as a network marketing or MLM company (passive, residual income), and same potentially wealthy lifestyle. The advantage is that you don't have any of the drawbacks mentioned above.

You create and own the information product, the company is yours, the websites are yours, and all the profits are yours. You don't have to bother with recruiting sales people that may leave you or do nothing, and you don't have to worry about training them and putting up with their complaints and frustrations.

In other words, you will have a REAL business that can be extremely lucrative for you quickly.

Most people simply don't know how to get into the information marketing business, or are too intimidated by it because they perceive it to be difficult. However, it's really not, and there are tools for you to learn how to build an online information business to a full-time income within months, even if you're starting from absolute scratch.

Shiraz Khan and Nitro Marketing have built a strong reputation for teaching people how to build an internet business from scratch using a powerful 10-step process.

What is a Home Base Business?

I just wanted to know what it is and how it works.

A Home Base Business is any business where the business person setup their operation at their residence.

You can be a doctor, lawyer, stockbroker, insurance agent, etc..

I want to start a home-based cake decorating business…?

Do I need to have a food handler's card, business license, or a health inspection? I know all of these things are necessary if I were to sell my cakes commercially, but would it be required if I were to do it as a small business at home?

[display_name id=”1″]

Call your city hall and find out what is required to set up a food related home-based business. Every state/county/province etc will have different rules.
If you are selling your pies or cookies at a farmer's market, there are some leniencies apparently, depending on where you live.
If you are making /decorating cakes that you are selling, that IS commercial in a sense, even if from home. The rules just change sometimes depending on where you live for home-based vs. Commercial location. So check them out. You never said where you live, so nobody who posts here will give you specific rules to your area. You need to check that out yourself at your city department, as I've probably already mentioned lol.
I know there are plenty of people who don't follow the rules and have 'successful' home based cake decorating businesses. Personally I would never do that because I just believe in doing things by the book. But each to their own.
The reason I call myself amateur cake decorator is because I lost my commercial kitchen I was using. Where I live (in Western Canada) it is required that you have a separate kitchen entirely for your commercial use than you use for home cooking, and if it is right in your home, then 40% of your home must still be home use. Then you need a health inspector to come and make sure you're up to par food safe wise (proper counter tops/shelves, and proper sanitizing system (e,.g here that would be a 3 part sink- for washing, rinsing and sanitizing).
Those happen to be the requirements here.
For your city/location they will vary so you need to call your city department that gives out business licences.
Good luck!

Home Based Business?

How do you know which home-based businesses are legitmate, and which ones are not. What are the costs associated with them, and do they really work without having to keep recruiting people to make money?

Posted by smokylink2005
[display_name id=”1″]

Sorry for the long response, but I didn't see anyone warning about the negatives of MLMs. Do a LOT of research before you join one if you do go that route.

I noticed that a lot of replies have been for MLMs. An MLM is not your own business, it is a distributorship. You do not own anything. You just have a contract with the company to promote and market their products. The business is designed to make money for the company and pay you just enough to keep you around. That's why over 95% of MLMers drop out in the first year. It is a very hard and time consuming business. Don't let anyone tell you it's not a LOT of work and a LOT of time.

If anyone disagrees, just ask them how you can change supplies, complete for lower prices, and what happens if the parent company goes out of business. If you was your own business, if the supplier went out of business, you would just find a new supplier. The problem with MLM is that when the supplier goes… So does your downline and ALL of your hard work.

One good way to find out about an MLM is to look for the company name and lawsuit on the Internet. Companies like Amway have plenty of lawsuits out there that will help show you exactly what the distributor is and is not.

Another side to MLMs that they do not tell you about is the federal law that requires ALL MLM distributors to retail 50% or more of ALL of the products they buy. If they do not, then they violate federal law and are classified as a pyramid scheme. How to companies like Amway get around it? Well they don't. It's just very hard to prove and many MLMs get sued because of this law. For me, I decided to stop ALL my MLM distributors because of this. Even ones that were making me a decent amount of money. I do NOT want to retail products and you do not have to according to the MLMs. However, according to federal law you do!

Why the law? Easy. If you owned a retail store and ONLY sold to yourself. You would not be a legal store and would not qualify as a real business. If you do an MLM and ONLY buy products for yourself and do not retail any of them, then you are not a legal business and should not be able to qualify for tax advantages of a real business. This is where MLMers get into a LOT of trouble. Are you taking tax advantages from your MLM distributorship? Better watch out. You are not qualified to take tax advantages from an MLM if you are not retailing 50% or more of the products. How many MLMs violate this? Just about ALL of them. Why? Because it is unlikely they will get caught. But it is illegal and I will not recruite anyone into something that is illegal.

Another thing you will hear is that someone made $10K a month in an MLM. Ok… But that is NOTHING for a small business. I generate $20K a month and only net $2K to $6K. Gross for a small business means nothing. Net does. I have seen LOTS of MLMers that have copies of checks that say $10K to $15K a month. However, that is total gross income for their business (distributorship really). How much do they NET? How much time do they spend?

For me, I started my own little part-time newsletter and make a few thousand dollars every month. Some months I make as much as $6K and others as low as $2K. But I only work about 10 to 20 hours per month.

I always offer information on what I do to others free of charge. So it really is your own business. You can sell it give it away, or do whatever you want. That's how you know it's a real business. If you make up ALL the rules, you set your prices, etc.

About 1 out of 1,000 MLMs will make more than about $50 per month… And will spend even more each month. Maybe 1 out of 10,000 will make more than a few hundred dollars. Probably 1 out of 50,000 make $1,000 or more each month. How many make $2K to $6K every month with only 10 to 20 hours invested? That's why I do what I do.

Starting a home based business?

I would like to offer hair accessories for little girls from my home, at a lower price than they are offered at the stores. I have sold a few on eBay but I just don't know how to get the word out. I have tried facebook and I have open a eBay store Http://stores.ebay.com/Sales-Of-Mine.
I already have my business named registered and also I already have my state and federal ID numbers any advice would be great.
I have chosen the name Sales Of Mine just for eBay, because as I continue to grow I would like to offer more items to my consumers not just hair accessories. I have a lot of wholesalers that I will be doing business with but I thought it would be a good idea to start small and work my way up to bigger and better things.

Your margins are too low to afford any sort of paid advertising. And most free promotion methods will cost more in labor time that you will probably earn back from your tiny product line.

You probably have to think bigger, imagine if you have a booth at a flea market, what variety of little girl products would you need to to be able to pay for the space? Think of some live style sort of name that would appeal to your customers, ad men would find Sales-Of-Mine to be a terrible ineffective unimaginative name, sorry but when people use "My" or their name in a business name, they are not thinking of attracting customers, something like "Little Divas" might be a better attention getter as well as giving a hint of what you are dealing in.

Consider expanding your product like to better fulfill the customers of your theme, if you catered to "sophisticated youths" you would have little brief cases, your could use drop shipper supplied suppliers to broaden your line to attract more prospects, even if you break even on the added products they would serve the purpose of bring buyers to see your higher profit items. Really what you are offering now is like 1 foot of display space in a 99 cent store, I can't imagine those alone bringing in much money.

Creating a blog that discusses Little Divas or whatever your chosen theme is could like to your store as a "sponsor" the blog itself would not be for selling, rather it would be a fashion lifestyle magazine for the little ones.

I brought up the Divas after seeing the pair of Nicki Minaj fans almost weekly on the Ellen D show.

Questions and Answers

work at home opportunity?

I am a stay at home mommy looking for a "real, legit" opportunity to work from home… Do any of you have some ideas? Have any of you worked for avon before?
Thanks for sharing….

Posted by Michelle P
[display_name id=”1″]

There are a lot of "real, legit" opportunities to work from home. I know a lot of different companies in which you can collaborate with. Avon is one. There are literally hundreds of incredible opportunities from a variety of different industries. Telecommunications in one, Travel is another, Green products is another etc etc. I know a lot of people in the telecommunications that do incredible in working at home with. I know a few home based travel agents that do well to.
One thing you need to understand about any business you venture into, is you can not be lazy. The opportunity is there, but you have to be willing to work for it and not think you can get involved in a company, then sit on your couch all day long watching t.v. And expect the companies to send you checks each month for doing absolutely nothing. These companies want to make money. If you do your part, they will do theirs. If you don't, you won't get anything from them. Just like if you had a business partner and you were doing all the work, and they were doing nothing, would you give them their cut when there was no cut to give? It's the same concept. Same as working for someone. If you don't do the work in which they want you to do, they will fire you. You can't get fired owning your own business, but you can stop yourself from brining in the income by not doing anything with your business.
So if you want a real opportunity to be finanically set, then you need to be prepared to actually do some work. Which isn't hard, but you need to put some effort into things.

Legit work at home opportunities?

I am looking for a legitimate work at home (online) opportunity. Has anyone made any money from a certain website? If you have recieved payment from a website please let me know which one it was. Thanks!

I tried over 15 opportunities in the course of 2 years so I have some great information for you on how to find a LEGIT way to work from home plus a list of top 10 work at home scams! This post is a little long, but you will walk away armed with the knowledge you need to find a legitimate work from home opportunity.

I am a single mother of two little girls who are actually tugging on my arm as I write this so I will try to be brief. Many people are looking for work from home companies. All the scams definitely create a big problem. Did you know Yahoo Finance states that for every 1 real home career there are 50 scams? You have to be careful and I can show you how.

So the scams create a big problem but also, there is a problem of people misunderstanding the difference between work from home "jobs" and work from home opportunities. There really are not work from home “jobs”. To get that you have to start working for a company in their offices first, then they MAY allow you to take the job home.

Most of the work from home opportunities that are legitimate offers are not an hourly pay type job. They are business opportunities that help you in starting your own business from your home. What you should do first is to decide if you are simply looking for an hourly rate type job or if you are looking for more of an opportunity for additional income such as what you would make in your own business being your own boss from home.

Did you know that small home business have increased in the last 5 years by about 200%? People are really starting to realize that if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Meaning, if you want to make the kind of money you are worth, the kind of money you deserve for your efforts, then you need to make that happen yourself. No one else will take care of you financially the way you would take care of yourself!

Legitimate small home businesses have some small costs involved, less than $500 to start is reasonable and I would stay away from those wanting $1000-$5000. It doesn’t cost that much to start and run a home business so you shouldn’t pay it. There are some great small home franchises that you can start for $50 to $100 bucks!

If you are coming across places that say free then I would RUN don’t walk the other way! They never are. I tried them many times and 3 weeks later I had to buy this and 6 weeks later that. After 6 months these “free businesses” had cost me over $800 on average.

After trying 15 things I now work about 18-25 hours per week for a well known and respected company with amazing credentials. And get this, this company’s motto is “Saving Americans, One Household At A Time”. This company actually helps keep Americans Safe and Secure by offering Medical and Dental plans at affordable rates that anyone can afford. This National Medical Healthcare Company has recently opened a new division called SecureNet where they help Americans Protect their children in a program called National Child ID in partnership with the FBI. They also help Americans get back on top of their finances with Foreclosure Avoidance, Debt Relief, Credit Repair and more. Whether you are helping people get much needed medical and dental care, helping people keep their children safe or helping people stay afloat in this uncertain economy, you can feel comfort and pride knowing you are working from home with a credible company that you would be PROUD to work with.

This is a nationally known and reputable home business which is what you need to make sure you are looking for. I have been with the company for just over two years now and I make over $3000 a month! In your first month, depending on how many hours you can work, I have seen people make anywhere from $500 to over $1000. And your income will increase each month because you get paid residual income as well. This is where you do the work once, but every month when your customer pays their monthly bill, you get your commission again. Again and again, month after month, year after year. That’s called residual income.

The best part is they have 401(k), direct deposit, life insurance and a benefits package most of which you get from day one. In addition, there are no products, no hard selling or pushing, no cold calling, no home parties and no telemarketing! That was VERY important to me. I absolutely love working with them and I can't believe I am making what I am making and in so few hours per week. The neat thing is there are other people on your team that you work with so you are never alone. You have great team support and you get to know the other people on your team pretty well. I’ve made some great friends working with this company.

I was a bit apprehensive at first because I know a lot of companies are not legit but this company’s credentials FAR SURPASSED any other home business I had ever seen. Our $25 Million Dollar Corporate Office is located at 5700 Democracy Dr., Plano, T.

Is there a legit work from home opportunity?

I am looking for a REAL opportunity to work from home…..

I don't know any company that will hire you to work out of your home. Unless you are an accountant or a tax person that has their own business from home. You could get a license for something like that and work out of your home. Or search other avenues of starting your own home based business doing something else. There's a lot of different options you have. Remember it's a business not a job. How much effort you put into it working from your home would determine how much income you'd be putting in the bank.
I'm not sure what things you like to do, so I'm not really sure where to refer you to. If you'd like to know what I do, feel free to email me and I'd be happy to show you were to go and what I do. I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business's. If you'd like some ideas, you can take a look at the blog for about a half a dozen ideas. If you find one you like, simply contact the person who wrote it.
Good luck to you!
